Since opening doors in December 2015, Vessel has become Victoria’s hub for all things wine, beer, spirits, cider, and the conversation and culture surrounding them. Our locally-owned, independent company was built around supporting authentic products and producers, from our BC backyard and from around the globe.

MADE IN BC

Unsworth Vineyards Rosé 2023, BC. ($27.99)
This pale pink hued rosé is a happy collective blend of home turf (Cowichan Valley) and Fraser Valley fruit. Pale, light bodied, and lively, with wild strawberry, orange rind, and a kiss of spice, this food-friendly pink is ready for pairing.

Domaine de la Mordorée Tavel La Dame Rousse 2022, Tavel, Rhône Valley, France. ($49.99)
Tavel is the granddaddy of rosé wines. It’s structural, age-worthy, serious, and bone dry. Biodynamic, family-owned Domaine de la Mordorée is a benchmark producer. Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah are woven across the dry, structural palate, imbued with scrubby dried herbs and scented with crushed florals. Find it online.

Brasserie Cantillon Rosé de Gambrinus, Belgium. ($19.99 for 375ml)
Cantillon was founded in 1900 in Belgium, and produces exclusively organic lambic beers. This special Rosé de Gambrinus uses 200g of raspberries for every litre of beer, with a 1-2 month maceration period, yielding a distinct pure fruitiness into this fragrant, tangy beer. Find it online.
