The North Vancouver Location Of La Taqueria Is Set To Launch On February 23rd

by Andrew Morrison | The new location of La Taqueria at 1305 Welch Street in North Vancouver is set to open on February 23rd. We took a look inside yesterday morning with co-owner Marcelo Ramirez while they were stocking, menu painting, and otherwise putting the finishing touches on the cafeteria-style frontage. The vast commissary kitchen in the back – where they will be producing salsas and gluten-free, non-GMO tortillas made with nixtamal dough derived from corn specially imported from Culiacán, Mexico – looked pretty much ready to go. Opening hours will be Monday to Saturday, 11am to 5pm. Congratulations, people of the North Shore. You deserve it!
