Slim, Beer-Forward “Boxcar” Opening Between Farina & The Cobalt On Main Street

Old friends Ezra Kish and Patryk Drozd are taking over the long, thin 800 sqft stable space sandwiched between Pizzeria Farina and The Cobalt on Main Street. With it, they’re opening Boxcar, a beer-forward joint with 24 taps and standing room for 75 people. It’ll be woody and lovely when it’s finished, complete with old ceiling tiles from the original Woodwards, restored original floorboards, large original artwork by Drew Young, and sun that pours in through the rear doors all afternoon long (glass garage doors swing open and closed on both ends). Expect to see some classic cocktails and a few wines on offer as well, plus a limited food component TBD. Opening day is slated for some point in February.
