Shelter Point Distillery Saratoga Sands Dry Gin, Vancouver Island, BC. ($39.99)

Handcrafted in small batches, Saratoga Sands is a classic London Dry from botanicals including juniper, coriander, and angelica root – plus unofficial ingredients, like sunsets and sea air. Full and smooth, with citrus underpinned with pine and peppery notes. Find it online.

COAST TO COAST, BUT MAKE IT FIZZY

Benjamin Bridge Pet Nat 2021, Gaspereau Valley, Nova Scotia. ($34.99)

Scion and exceptionally talented young 3rd generation winemaker, Sebastián Zuccardi, pioneered this Concreto malbec, grown at Finca Piedra Infinita in Uco’s Paraje Altamira, at 1100m (!).
