Here’s a tantalizing reason to hit New Westminster soon: on April 5th, award-winning el Santo will be hosting a special, beer-paired ‘Lucha Libre Thursday’ feast. The evening will feature a six-course menu of modern Mexican flavours next to alternating beers from two of BC’s best breweries: New West’s Steel & Oak and Port Moody’s Twin Sails.

Actually, all the different beers make for many more reasons to buy your ticket now ($70 per person, including pairings) and plan your trip to the historic riverside town. Pro tip: the restaurant is literally minutes walking distance from the New Westminster Station, so your night can be car-free and carefree.
