Vancouver, BC | This year on Father’s Day, tell dad he can take the day off grilling duties because you’re treating him to Railtown Catering’s Southern-inspired Father’s Day BBQ feast, packed with delicious slow smoked meats and traditional housemade sides.

Traditional BBQ is a longtime passion of Railtown Catering Chef and co-owner Dan Olson and it has grown into an important and beloved part of its menus building a loyal following for their special events and catering. Every BBQ package is prepared carefully, putting hours of work into brining, basting and slow cooking carefully selected premium proteins on Railtown’s 12-foot Texas-style smoker.

“Our team is dedicated to making classic tailgate BBQ that will wow your family,” said Chef Dan Olson. “We start with the best ingredients and give them the time and care they need to come out incredibly moist, tender, and flavourful.”

Each Father’s Day BBQ feast generously feeds four to five people with four proteins: beef brisket prepared with a secret spice rub, sausage haus brats, tangy-sweet smoked pork shoulder, and a super tender beer brined chicken, served up withs traditional sides made from scratch like Jalapeño Corn Bread, crunchy Carolina Cole Slaw, Corn on the Cob, and Creamy Potato Salad. It’s finished off with plenty of Railtown Bourbon Barbecue Sauce for dipping for just $199, completely cooked, ready to reheat and serve.

As a special early bird bonus, every package purchased before June 6th will include an 8-pack of Red Truck Lager, Amber Ale, or IPA to pair with the feast.

If a bigger crowd is expect or leftovers are part of the plan, additional sides and proteins such as the Memphis Style Baby Back Ribs ($45, serves four) can be ordered. Vegetarian and vegan guests can joing the fun with Beyond Meat sausages (2/$18) and dessert lovers can add Southern-style options like Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie ($39) and a seasonal Strawberry Shortcake ($39).

Orders must be placed by 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 11th. Packages will be available for pickup from 11:00am–4:00pm on Father’s Day Sunday, June 15th at Railtown Cafe’s flagship location at 397 Railway Street in Vancouver. Delivery will be available throughout the Lower Mainland for an additional charge.
