Beaucoup Bakery Announces Third Outpost Near Squamish

Vancouver, BC | Vancouver’s Beaucoup Bakery is expanding its beloved brand beyond the city this winter with the opening of its third location at the new Britannia Beach Townhomes development near Squamish. The Parisian-style bakery and cafe will feature the cozy elegance of a French Alpine-style retreat, offering the community a taste of its signature pastries, cakes, and more.

“We’re excited to open our third location at Britannia Beach, a community that shares our love for nature, history, and of course, good food,” says Betty Hung, who co-owns Beaucoup Bakery with her brother Jacky Hung. “Jacky and I used to drive up to Whistler with our family and would often pass by the Britannia Mine Museum. It’s a spot with a lot of heritage, and we look forward to introducing visitors and residents to our French-inspired creations very soon.”

Designed by BOTI Interiors, the 2,050-square foot, 50-seat space combines the charm of a French Alpine retreat with a nod to the area’s rich mining history, anchored by a striking fireplace. The design concept takes inspiration from mid-century modern aesthetics while incorporating rustic elements, seamlessly blending tradition and contemporary flair. A 545-square foot patio is expected to launch after opening.

The menu will feature Beaucoup Bakery’s signature collection of pastries, viennoiseries, cakes, and savoury sandwiches, alongside seasonal items exclusive to the Britannia Beach location, such as beignets and tartes. A full beverage menu with coffees, teas, and hot chocolate will also be available.

“This location is very special, and we wanted to ensure we created a space that feels like a getaway from the city – a place that is warm and inviting,” adds Jacky. “We can’t wait for our guests to experience it.”

The branding is currently being designed by Vancouver’s acclaimed Glasfurd & Walker.
