The GOODS from Quail’s Gate Winery
West Kelowna, BC | Wines from Quails’ Gate winery have earned high honours at France’s prestigious Chardonnay du Monde. The 2010 Stewart Family Reserve Chardonnay was awarded a Gold Medal, while the 2011 Quails’ Gate Chardonnay received Silver. The awards testify to the excellence of the wines crafted by the Okanagan icon, which has won fans among both critics and consumers around the globe.
The 2010 Stewart Family Reserve Chardonnay was made from grapes grown on vines planted on the Mount Boucherie bench in 1996. The 2011 Quails’ Gate Chardonnay is a 50/50 blend of chardonnays fermented in French oak barrels and stainless steel tanks.
The 2013 Chardonnay du Monde competition included nearly 900 wines from 42 countries. The judges comprised more than 300 experts, half of whom were from outside France. After four days of judging, the panels awarded medals to about one third of the wines entered. The medals included 58 Gold, 183 Silver, and 50 Bronze.
Quails’ Gate is proud that its wines were recognized by the competition to be among the best in the world.

Chef Roger Sleiman offers menus with ingredients sourced from surrounding fields and pastures, our kitchen garden and regional British Columbia farms all paired perfectly with our Estate Wines.
