Vancouver, BC | It’s not too late to give your teen the ultimate culinary experience this summer. The Dirty Apron Cooking School is offering week-long cooking camps for teens throughout the month of August in an action packed kitchen classroom. Under the watchful eye of Dirty Apron owner and head instructor David Robertson, students will learn to create their own dishes with a focus on team building and making new friends. Each day students will follow a theme – such as Italian, French or Japanese – with all dishes made from fresh and local ingredients. After a morning of cooking the chefs-in-training then dine together, enjoying the fruits of their labour around The Dirty Apron’s harvest table. Parents of past Dirty Apron Cooking Camp attendees are raving about this truly fun and educational experience. As one mom explains, “My son Ellis just made me fresh pasta with a brown butter sauce and an apple tart for dessert. I am blown away with what he has learnt and is excited about!”

The camp will be offered for ages 12-17, with classes running Monday to Friday from 9am to 1pm throughout August. Space is limited to 20 students per class and tuition for the camp is priced at $490. This includes a daily recipe book, hands-on cooking with close supervision, all meals, and their very own Dirty Apron.
