Adbusters | A thoroughly depressing but always illuminating anti-consumerist magazine founded in 1989 by Bill Schmalz and Kalle Lasn right here in Vancouver. Campaigns include “Buy Nothing Day” and “Occupy Wall Street”. It prints bi-monthly, with a world-wide circulation of 120,000.
