Vancouver, BC | Kale & Nori is ready to rock phase two of their Bittered Sling Bistro Season 3 competition. After a successful double-event sellout for their opening month “World of Whiskies”, we have two new bartenders ready to take on the scorecards. April’s events will feature all tiers of the Flor de Cana Rum portfolio, and Leblon Cachaca. Boldly named “When Tiki Attacks!”, this series will feature two bartenders well recognized for their abilities using the legends of Tiki culture. Join Bittered Sling Bistro this month, as we tell the tales of Captain Cook and the Sandwich Islands, run for cover from the smoke and fire of well-balanced and innovative cocktails, and dine on delicious foods inspired by global ?avours by Chef Jonathan Chovancek. Format

– Passed Hors d’Oeuvres paired with opening reception cocktail by Lauren Mote;

– Sit-down three course dinner, menu presented by Chef Jonathan Chovancek of Kale & Nori to both engage and challenge the guest bartender’s perspective on their cocktail pairings;

– Each guest receives a scorecard, and rates each pairing through several categories, such as taste, balance, appearance, level of pairing;

– Interactive presentation style – fun and business-casual

– $60/tickets (this is inclusive of GST and service charge) – tickets will not be available to purchase at the door, guests must purchase tickets online or in person at Legacy Liquor Store ahead of time.

This season will boast several new bartenders and brands, so perhaps you can expect to see your favourites!
