We recently returned from an R&R trip down to Los Angeles. We were down there at the same time as Josh Pape, James Iranzad, and David Gunawan who were in town doing R&D for their upcoming Wildebeest restaurant on Hastings. We tagged along for several of their meals and got up to many other things besides, the delicious gists of which you can see from the 200 or so shots below…

Such a great trip! Loving these photos…
So choked I didn’t see these last week, before I was driving down Abbot Kinney searching for somewhere decent to eat…thanks for setting me up for a better experience on the next trip!
Photo geek question: what lens were you shooting with for most of your shots on the EOS 60D? Note that you haven’t set your dates on the Mark 5D as it’s posting January 1 2000.
The picture of the busboy collecting glasses with his fingers reminds me of the time I was taken to task in a union environment when I told a server she’d “regret” handling others glassware in that fashion. A two hour union grevience meeting ended in stalemate as I refused to recant my “threatening” choice of words. While administrators begged me to capitulate I restated my defense that one would regret that sloppy service when they got hepatitis and then gave it to their loved ones. Strong language is not necessarily wrong language.
fantastic shots, yay sun!
