OK, so these aren’t in Vancouver, but I can’t think of any other Scout header that would fit these shots (except maybe Cool Thing We Want). Anyway, for years I’ve had my eye on these eight pairs of vintage Adidas Gazelles that have been fastened to an upside down scull hanging in the dining room of Kelowna’s lakefront Hotel El Dorado. I reckon they’re a size 8 or 9 – which is to say they’d probably fit. Considering their age (the shoe was launched in 1968) and condition, they might be worth as much as the boat!
