Successful applicants must have good knowledge of coffee and equipment, have strong skills meaning be able to consistently do latte art and make coffee quickly while multitasking and providing great customer service. Sister to neighbouring night time hot spot Chambar, Café Medina is a quaint café serving espresso-based drinks, Belgian waffles and a full breakfast, brunch, and lunch menu comprised of eclectic dishes created by owner and chef, Nico Schuermans. Café Medina is located at 556 Beatty Street. The café will maintain its regular hours during the Olympics, opening Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm with breakfast service from 9am to noon. Weekday lunch service is from noon until 3pm. Café Medina is open Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm with brunch service from 9am to 3:00 pm.
