Vancouver, BC | On Monday, April 18th join chef Angus An and local barman Ben DeChamplain for an evening of springtime flavours served in signature Maenam style. For one night, the Kitsilano hotspot will feature a custom menu of five courses, served family style, alongside DeChamplain’s thoughtfully crafted flights of ingredient-focused cocktails. Spring Cocktail Dinner

First Course

wild baja prawn cakes
Tort man goong
Hand minced prawn dumplings, long beans, kaffir lime leaves, cucumber relish
Cocktail Pairing: gin, tomato, nahm jim, and fresh lemon

grilled octopus and fresh palm heart salad
yam yod mapao plah meuk
lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, lemon basil and coriander

Cocktail Pairing: vodka, roasted young coconut juice, lemongrass, kaffir lime, and chili pepper

Second Course

hot and sour soup of tamarind and mussels
tom klong hoi malaeng puu
tomatoes, tamarind leaves, green mangoes
Cocktail Pairing: tequila, mango, palm sugar, and tamarind

stir-fried lingcod
pad cha plah
holy basil, thai basil, green peppercorns, wild ginger, white turmeric
Cocktail Pairing: Szechuan pepper infused rum, lime, and ginger beer

southern style curry of grilled beef sirloin
geng gola neua
grilled to medium rare. dry style curry, rich with coconut and peanut
