The awkward quote of the day comes from Adam Burish of the Chicago Blackhawks, who had this to say about Canuck d-man Sami Salo hitting the ice tonight after taking a slap shot in the nuts on Sunday.

“If he plays tonight, man, that guy’s an ironman,” said Chicago’s  showing some respect to a Canucks opponent for the first time in recent memory. “Maybe I will rub up against him, so I can get some of that toughness. How you can play through something like that blows my mind.”
