Production Company Searching For Chef To Host New Food Show

Word is there’s a production company sniffing around looking for an engaging Canadian male chef (30-45ish) to host a new nationally televised food program called Route 66. CHEF/HOST POSITION FOR ROUTE 66

New and exciting food series for E1 and a national cable channel, ‘ROUTE 66’, follows the dynamic and charismatic Chef/Host as he travels across Canada giving us a tour and taste test of his most favourite, undiscovered, ‘hole in the wall’ eateries with fab food.

E1 is looking for that magnetic Chef/Host who says what he feels, doesn’t hold back, is dynamic, yet down to earth and has humour.

THIS PROFESSIONAL CHEF (MALE) 30-45ish

Professionally trained with experience
A ‘larger than life’ personality who people remember
Dynamic, Confident and Charismatic
Outspoken with definite opinions
Unpretentious and down to earth
An engaging ‘people person’
Has a great sense of humour
A Canadian or legal resident

2. A 2-3 minute lively WALK AND TALK VIDEO – can be shot with a home movie camera.

VIDEO DESCRIPTION: Walking down a city street, chat directly to camera about why YOU are the perfect host for ‘ROUTE 66’ and then have the camera follow you as you enter one of your favourite, undiscovered eateries, introducing us to the place and taste testing one of their dishes telling us why this eatery is in your Top 10. This video is to showcase your personality, your knowledge and culinary vernacular.
