News from Scout Supporter La Brasserie

Vancouver, BC – La Brasserie, a West End favourite for Franco-German comfort foods like Steak Onglet & Frites, Rotisserie Chicken and Roast Suckling Pig, has expanded on its extremely popular dinner service and is now offering Sunday brunch.

Don’t expect any Eggs Benedict at La Brasserie’s brunch! Chef/owner Michael Wiese and Chef de Cuisine Joseph Sartor have created a menu that provides reprieve from Vancouver’s ubiquitous brunch mainstays. Staying true to the restaurant’s Northern European roots, La Brasserie is offering up a French-inspired brunch menu with comforting classics like a Blue Cheese & Leek Quiche, Croque Madame, Oeufs en Meurette and Pain Perdu, as well as a nod to French Canada with a traditional Tortierre.

Of course brunch wouldn’t be complete without cocktails, so La Brasserie’s brunch “boissons” include a Kir Royal, Mimosa, French Coffee, and a Grey Goose Caesar. Full wine and beer lists are also available.

Brunch is served at La Brasserie Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the full Brunch menu is available at www.labrasserievancouver.com.
