You Need To Try This Brandy-Amplified Eggnog in Chinatown

There’s no local shortage of fantastic riffs on the classic holiday eggnog. From bourbon and rum to tequila and sherry, the basic recipe is so versatile that bartenders can spike it with just about anything. But if you want a tried-and-true iteration, consider heading over to Chinatown’s Juniper, where the bar team is currently making a real beauty.

    Eggs, cream and sugar combine perfectly to create the rich, smooth and luscious base. A bit of brandy kicks the nog into high gear. It’s served in a classic Nick & Nora glass with a sprinkle of freshly grated nutmeg on top. It only comes out to play over the holiday season so we’d all do well to get our fix in the next couple of days before the drink goes into hibernation again until next December.
