Point No Point | Place, Toponym | A mythic, 65 year old group of cabins between Sooke and Jordan River on Vancouver Island (not to be confused with the outcropping of land with the same name on Washington’s Kitsap Peninsula). Famed for its remote quietude, cliff-top benches and open-fronted ‘Beach House’, Point No Point has been an escape for Victoria residents since 1952. Its name comes from the land’s first survey designation, which identified it as a point that did not extend farther than the two primary points flanking it.
