It’s honestly a little difficult to NOT jaywalk in our Burquitlam-KoreaTown neighbourhood with all of the Evergreen Line disruptions to all of the sidewalks etc. I technically need to jaywalk nearly every day here to get to the grocery store or the Skytrain.
I think they’re nailing out of towners. Evergreen disruption has also been forcing delivery trucks and such to park around in areas where they end up getting a ticket. I’ve witnessed it walking around here. Everything here is just in a state.
