Safe & Sound Music Fest Going Down in New West August 24/25

New Westminster’s Hip Hop and R&B music festival, Safe & Sound, is returning to Pier Park on August 24th and 25th. The fest’s second round has expanded to include over two dozen musicians and deejays, including headliners Anderson .Paak & the Free Nationals and Vince Staples. Those are some pretty impressive names for the hatchling festival!

Granted, it takes a real stage presence to compete with the riverside outdoor venue’s view of the Fraser River. Ticket prices are two-tiered and start at just under $100 for a single day. Passes cap at $279.99 — a splurge that includes both days with VIP access to a cordoned off picnic area with tables and a private bar. However, you don’t need to make the economical stretch to enjoy the venue’s sideline perching areas, decent all-around stage sight lines and spectacular waterfront atmosphere.

Check out the full line-up and grab your tickets to this truly memorable musical experience here, and ensure that your summer ends on a musical high note!
