Five Cleverly Cool Things To Score For Craft Beer Fetishists This Holiday Season

FullSizeRender-(5)

There’s a fair chance you’ll have a beer lover on you holiday gift list. It goes without saying that the most obvious beer-themed gift that you could possibly get that person is beer (duh), but let’s try something different

A super soft, OMG cozy, vintage crew-neck, large loop French terry fabric ‘B33R’ sweatshirt from 33 Acres Brewing. One of our number owns one and swears it’s like wearing a pillow. $125

A craft beer cruise with someone else driving. This is one of those excellent presents that requires you to buy one for yourself too because…you know…so your pal isn’t lonely. Prices start around $75. Choose between Wildside Vancouver and Vancouver Brewery Tours.

A slick growler holder by Greff Growler. We’ve featured these before when they first came on the scene. You went on the tour, you bought the beer, now how the hell do you get it home safely? We share one around the office and it’s sweet. The cost is $80. Score yours at Woo To See You on Mainland Street.

Not satisfied with just drinking beer? How about bathing in it? Yup, you can slather on some Craft Beer Soap from Sadies Soaps and smell like one of 75 – woah, seriously? – delicious local brews, instantly. $8 a bar (no pun intended). Available all over the place.

Beer wort-flavoured ice cream at Earnest Ice Cream! It’s called 33 Acres of Malt (after their supplier, natch). Super tasty, like the core of a malteser candy but colder and velvety smooth. If you brave the line-up at their Fraserhood location on a weekend you’re also a local hero. Santa sees that stuff. Call ahead to avoid disappointment. $11 a pint – get it?
