The hostel concept first launched last year in Tokyo to the delight of international travelers. At the comapany’s Kyoto iteration – which opens next week – overnighters can sleep inside the bookshelves in cozy little nooks that come complete with reading light, electrical outlet, storage space and blue privacy curtains. Bonus: on site craft beer bar featuring local brews. The cost for one night is less than $50.
