Beaucoup Bakery’s New ‘La Lune’ Mooncakes Collection Arrives This Weekend

The Goods from Beaucoup Bakery & Cafe

Vancouver, BC | Starting this weekend, in celebration of the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival, Beaucoup Bakery is launching its new La Lune Collection, featuring pastry chef and co-owner Betty Hung’s signature sablé crust mooncakes and, for the first time, classic Cantonese-style mooncakes. The collection, which also includes a decadent chocolate chestnut cake, is available for pre-orders online now for pick-up at both its Fir Street and Dunsmuir Street locations until September 22, 2024.

“My brother Jacky and I always looked forward to Mid-Autumn Festival with our family, where we would feast and enjoy mooncakes together,” says Betty, who co-owns Beaucoup Bakery with her brother, Jacky. “This year, we wanted our mooncakes to reflect both our creativity and heritage. From the classic richness of lotus seed paste to the fresh notes of mango and yuzu in my sablé crust creations, each mooncake is a tribute to the full moon and reunions with loved ones.”

Beaucoup Bakery’s signature sablé crust mooncakes, first debuted in 2022 and have since been a fixture every fall.
