Biercraft’s Garden Veggie Burger With Bacon And A Beer

joeyarmstrong-biercraft-gardenburger-1402

by Joey Armstrong | A veggie burger for everyone! This housemade patty of nuts, veggies, spices isn’t dry or wanting, and I like that it didn’t pretend to be meat. The thing stands entirely on it’s own, complimented by layers of crispy onions, earthy mushrooms, aged cheddar, citrusy mayo, lettuce and tomato all stacked neatly on a toasted kaiser bun. Meat eater? Go ahead and add bacon. It tasted great with a Bourbon Blood Orange Wheat Ale from Bridge Brewing Co. (40 local craft beers on tap), not to mention the free popcorn we inhaled while waiting.
