Vancouver, BC | Aburi Market Yaletown, located next to Minami, is launching a limited-edition collaboration with Searchlight Pictures to mark the release of Rental Family, starring Academy Award winner Brendan Fraser. Beginning Friday, November 21, 2025, guests can order a 16-piece Tokyo-style bento ($34) featuring Aburi Salmon Oshi, Champagne Roll, Aburi Ebi Oshi, and classic Hosomaki — all presented in a Rental Family keepsake reusable bento box.

Available exclusively for pick-up at Aburi Market Yaletown next to Minami, each box is made-to-order in very limited quantities and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. While supplies last.

Set in modern-day Tokyo, Rental Family follows an American actor (Brendan Fraser) who struggles to find purpose until he lands an unusual gig: working for a Japanese “rental family” agency, playing stand-in roles for strangers.
