Seen In Vancouver #398: Pictures From Yesterday’s Sweet Strathcona Harvest Fest

Because it’s so close to Scout headquarters, a turn around Strathcona’s McLean Park the park is an almost daily ritual. This Sunday was the annual Strathcona Harvest Festival and the park was hopping. A BIG thank-you to all of the community members who donated time energy and goods to making this event happen. Such a good time! We had a camera and snapped a few pics. For those of you who couldn’t be at the centre of the universe, here is what you missed: “The Strathcona Harvest Festival is a multi-cultural, all ages, free community celebration where everyone can join in the festivities, sing and dance to the music of local talent, play some good old fashioned games, enjoy feasting and spend a fun filled afternoon with old acquaintances while having the chance to make some new ones.”

    1. These are fantastic photos that capture a beautiful day in Strathcona. I was here with my brother, his wife & their 2 young boys (2 & 4yrs old), they were visiting from Australia, and Harvest Fest was a perfect event for the weekend.
I especially love #25 (mom & daughter) and #30 (smiling pooch)
