Organization for the concert, which drew more than 40,000 people to the former farm town north of Whistler last July, is simply too far behind after a lengthy battle between festival organizers Live Nation and the Agricultural Land Commission over permission to restage the show on agricultural land.

“We will not be doing Pemberton this summer because the permits came through so late that we haven’t secured the talent or the sponsors to do the show,” said Live Nation spokesperson Liz Morentin.”We are going to concentrate on 2010.”
