$80 “Container Ship” Print – Hanging Now At Chinatown’s Access Gallery

Containership ContainerShip_detail
Access Gallery, located at 222 East Georgia Street, is doing something every Vancouverite should know about. They’ve launched an artist residency that allows selected visual artists passage aboard cargo ships sailing from Vancouver to Shanghai, a voyage that takes approximately 23 days. Pretty darn awesome, no?

The Gallery has launched a Kickstarter campaign to support funding for this unique initiative, and they need your support. In return for your generosity, there are a myriad of visual prizes for you to collect.

Christopher Boyne is going to be the third artist to participate in Twenty-Three Days at Sea, departing on the MV Hanjin Ottawa September 8th for Shanghai.

For the very fair price of a pledge starting at just $80, you can be the proud owner of a limited edition Boyne print that he designed before embarkation. But pledge fast. There are only 100 of these prints to be scooped up, and they’ll go fast.

Artist: Christopher Boyne | Piece: Container Ship, Archival Inkjet Print (limited edition of 150) 13” x 19”
Gallery: Access | Price: Minimum pledge of $80.00
