Pepino’s is Marking Their Seven-Year Milestone with Pasta and Wine Specials, June 23rd & 24th

Something big is going down on The Drive next week: Pepino’s Spaghetti House is turning (lucky) seven years old! And to honour the milestone, the popular neighbourhood Italian joint has got something special slated, for all you local pasta and wine lovers out there…

On Monday, June 23rd and Tuesday, June 24th only, Pepino’s is spreading their good fortune, pretending like it’s 2018 all over again by offering customers plates of their famous spaghetti & meatballs for just $21 (instead of the usual current price of $32), with glasses and bottles of Chianti at 50% off ($6 per glass instead of $12; and $30 bottles, marked down from $60). Sounds like a pretty sweet deal, and a damned good way to kick off the first week of Summer. Yes, please!

Another reason to celebrate: the Commercial Drive address – formerly home to Nick’s Spaghetti House, the Italian “red sauce” institution which Pepino’s pays homage to – is celebrating seven whole decades (yes, as in 70 years) of being a restaurant (Nick’s opened in 1955). Just think of all of the spaghetti that has been slurped up and meatballs that have been eaten since… Join the crowd. Mark your calendars and lock in your reservations here. A Neighbourhood-Wide Invitation to Wander Chinatown

When summer foot traffic slowed, a group of Chinatown businesses responded the way the best neighbourhoods often do: by working together. Their month-long Chinatown Passport is an invitation to wander, eat, drink and rediscover the neighbourhood.
