Well, this sounds like fun! On Friday, May 15th, our fun-loving friends at Here There are teaming up with Jackie Kai Ellis and Beaucoup Bakery to present the next instalment of Sensory Cinema, this time featuring the film Amelie. Check it out:

Imagine a movie experience unlike any other, a beloved Parisian classic paired with a tasting menu designed specifically for scenes in the film. Chef Jackie Ellis and Mina Hideshima will select some of his favourite moments in the film and playfully pair them with savoury and sweet canapés. Audience members will watch the film with food coming out of the kitchen perfectly timed and delivered to their seat by a friendly Sensory Cinema usher.

Here There is Lizzy Karp (Rain City Chronicles) and Ken Tsui (The Golden Dumpling Cook Off), a duo dedicated to hosting creative, new experiences in Vancouver. Together, they’re proud to be teaming up with Beaucoup Bakery, one of the best bakeries in the city.

With the added dimension of taste, touch and smell, the movie comes alive in an immersive cinematic experience. On May 15th, Sensory Cinema and Beaucoup Bakery will bring a slice of Paris to Vancouver.
