Deliciously Focused Pasta & Wine Pop-Up Returning To Gastown – Wed, July 5th

Sion

by Ken Tsui | Inspired by the bar à vin scene of Paris and the relaxed brewery vibes of Vancouver, Siôn Iorwerth started teaming up with The Birds and The Beets’ Matthew Senecal-Junkeer and Sean Cunningham last month for @JuiceBarYVR, an every Wednesday pop-up wine bar dedicated to uncorking some of the most idiosyncratic and unique natural wines available in Vancouver. It’s an informal and fun way to drink interesting wines that are an expression of grape, terroir and personality — all made with minimal intervention. With a constantly rotating menu of by-the-glass selections backed by a playlist of good vibes and a chalkboard menu of fresh, handmade pasta from the @NoodsYVR crew, it’s focused, ephemeral, affordable and always a deliciously good time — or exactly what a good pop-up should be. After the success of last night they’re taking next week off (28th) to come back strong on Wednesday, July 5th, so take note, make a plan, and follow their Instagram accounts (links above) to keep abreast of the wines and pastas they’ll be pouring and making!
