Head to Strange Fellows Brewery for the Crop Drop Pop-Up Market, This Sunday!

How’s this for a dream collaboration: this Sunday, September 8th, our favourite oddball craft brewery, Strange Fellows Brewing, is hosting Crop Drop BC for an entirely local and regenerative farmer’s market-style pop-up!

The first such event goes down at the Strathcona spot (1345 Clark Drive) from Noon until 4pm. Rummage up all your tote bags and tell all of your fellow food-loving friends: this is your chance to load up on fresh produce, eggs, meat, yogurt, and more – with the bonus peace of mind knowing that everything purchased has been carefully selected by the dedicated Crop Drop BC team to feature only the best stuff from local, ethical and regenerative farms…Plus, you only need to shell out $15 to have your “good deed” grocery shopping rewarded with a free Strange Fellows beer! How’s that for extra incentive? Not that you need it…(but capping off the weekend with a bounty of good ingredients and an excellent brew sounds pretty perfect).

In case you’re just getting hip to the Crop Drop deal now: this Vancouver-based grocer has a particular passion for supporting BC farmers who have a soft spot for the environment, expressed through their utilization of sustainable and ethical practices. These guys set the bar high for the products that they carry, and maintain a direct line with the local farmers they work with. Crop Drop BC usually fulfills orders for the local regeneratively farmed produce, pasture-raised meat, etc. that they stock via deliveries. All the more reason that you should swing by their pop-up at Strange Fellows this weekend and put faces to their name. See you on Sunday!
