Chi Pig

Chi Pig | person, legend | The pseudonym of SNFU (Society’s No Fucking Use) frontman Ken Chinn. Widely known and celebrated in the punk world for his energetic stage performances. In his later years, Chi could often be found haunting the area around The Cambie and Pub 340 in Gastown, sometimes in a glorious gold lamé suit with matching cowboy hat. The charismatic artist anchored nearly a dozen records over the course of his long career, and was the focus of a full-length documentary called “Open Your Mouth and Say…Mr. Chi Pig“. He died in the summer of 2020.
