Wildebeest Chef Pekka Tavela To Serve Up Next ‘Greasy Spoon’ Supper, May 17

Chef Pekka Tavela of Gastown’s Wildebeest is up next at Save On Meats’ Greasy Spoon dinner series. He’ll be serving his take on diner fare on the evening of May 17th, 2016. If you’re unfamiliar with the concept, the Greasy Spoon Supper Series invites BC’s best chefs to plate four courses of old school diner fare in their own way in support of A Better Life Foundation. Past participating chefs have included the talented likes of Joel Watanabe (Bao Bei, Kissa Tanto), Angus An (Maenam, Fat Mao, Longtail Kitchen), Ned Bell (Yew in the Four Seasons), Scott Jaeger (The Pear Tree), and Mike Robbins (AnnaLena).
