The View From Your Window #34

seattle-sunset

This is the only time I’ve revealed the name of someone who has submitted a VFYW photo. This one is different because it’s from out of town. Behold the vista belonging to Jamie Boudreau, long a fixture in Vancouver’s restaurant scene and probably one of the finest bartenders currently drawing breath on the continent. As you can see, he’s living in Seattle now, teaching the Yanks a thing or two about hospitality and booze. Those who know him would agree that we’re a little poorer for it. In his submission he wrote:

“Although I dearly miss my view of English Bay, Stanley Park and the North Shore when I was in Kits, this isn’t half bad either.”

Here’s hoping you make your way home soon, Jamie!
