We Want a Summer Subscription to Beautiful Flowers From Local Grower ‘Valley Buds’

They don’t have flowers ready for Valentine’s Day because their fields are covered with a thick layer of snow, but buying into the Valley Buds CSA is a brilliant way to pre-emptively ensure fresh flowers all summer long as soon as the growing season hits.

The local company is run by a couple of rad humans – Michelle Pezel and Alana Paterson – who grow their gorgeous flowers in the Squamish Valley…

Their community supported agriculture program is a weekly (or bi-weekly) flower share that supplies beautiful bundles of blooms from mid-July to the end of September.

Pro tip: the pick-up location is Antisocial Skateboard Shop on Main Street, so pencil in some time to wander Mt. Pleasant, grab a coffee at Federal Store, a meal at Dock Lunch, or a milkshake at Fable Diner.
