‘Vinícola Portugal’ Boutique Wine Fair Returns to Vancouver on September 21st

The Vinícola Portugal boutique wine festival is primed for its return, on Saturday, September 21st. If its two previous events offer any indication, this should be one fun, sociable, transportive and good-tasting time – and tickets are likely to get scooped up well in advance!

Last year, Vancouverites (approximately 200 of them) proved their love of and/or fascination with Portuguese wines by flocking to Heritage Hall on Main Street for the sophomore edition of Vinícola Portugal. Whether you were one them or not, and regardless of your familiarity with this particular corner of the vinicultural landscape, consider this your best chance to dive in while remaining in city limits, thanks to the capable guidance of Kissa Tanto’s GM and Sommelier, Justin Isidro.

Allot an afternoon to sponging up Portuguese wine bar vibes, by sipping on 70 different wines from 18 booths representing two-dozen producers specially selected to illustrate Portugal’s vibrant terroir. Add to that: regional snacks from ARC Iberico to enhance your gustatory experience (for an additional cost); plus more wine available to purchase from the Sutton Place Wine Merchants Pop Up Wine Shop. Not a bad way to kick off and set yourself up for the weekend!

Tickets to the four-hour-long daytime event, on Saturday, September 21st from 2-6pm – including tastings of the myriad wine on offer – are just $65 each (+ tax). Get yours here and then get stoked for September!
