View Corridor | civic intangible | Views of the city, the ocean and the North Shore mountains are protected by development guidelines. Vancouver has 27 of these “view corridors”. First introduced in the late 1980s, the rules allow for super tall buildings only if they don’t interrupt arbitrarily sacred sight lines.
