Cave, The

The Cave | Place | Open from 1937 to 1981, this cavernous night club (complete with fake stalactites) was the first in the city to score a liquor license. This was back in 1954, when Vancouver’s “culture of no” frowned upon the sinful combination of drinking and entertainment.

Usage | “Too bad Vancouver can’t hold on to amazing venues or we’d still be watching bands play at The Cave”.
