Foundy | Nickname | Foundy was the nickname given by locals to the Mount Pleasant mainstay restaurant, Foundation. The late-night vegetarian joint was famous for its (occasionally burnt) nachos, constant gangster rap, and kitschy names for their dishes (eg. “Sesame Society”). It closed in 2017.

Usage: “I don’t miss the Foundy that much. Do you?”
