Brickyard | Venue | The Brickyard is one in a long list of lamentable bar closures in Vancouver. Notable for hosting smaller touring bands and hard rocking locals alike, its last gig was probably in 2005 before it became the short-lived and horribly named Limerick Junction. Located at the bottom of the Rainier Hotel where East Van Roasters, Nelson the Seagull, and Community Vintage now reside, the dive bar will forever live on in our memories.
Usage: “Remember that epic Murder City Devils show at The Brickyard when the drummer set his cymbals on fire and the bassist heaved in the middle of their set?”
