A no messing around guide to the coolest things to eat, drink and do in Vancouver and beyond. Community. Not clickbait.

Ride the CSA Wave with the Women of Valley Buds Flower Farm

We couldn’t be more stoked about Valley Buds Flower Farm’s Community Supported Agriculture project. The two-acre Squamish Valley farm is run by two awesome and talented Vancouver women and real life buds, Antisocial Skateboard Shop owner Michelle Pezel and photographer Alana Paterson. They want to share the results of their hard work and make you smile by ensuring you’ve got your floral game properly set. Head over to Antisocial on Main Street to sign up and get Pezel’s contagiously enthusiastic scoop on Valley Buds in person. If you can’t make it to Mount Pleasant establishment, you can also purchase your share of the floral bounty online via their website.

So long as Mother Nature is kind, the pair is expecting to have flowers ready for pick-up at Antisocial or a TBA Squamish locale in July. But don’t wait to get involved because building a community and riding the waves together is what it’s all about! There’s no doubt in our minds that, with Pezel and Paterson at the helm, our love of flowers is in four very capable hands. Pro tip: a share in the Valley Buds CSA would make a great Valentines Day gift!
