Lila is Commemorating One Year of Business with Two “Clay Collab” Dinners, May 28th & 29th

This month, Lila (3941 Main Street) – the restaurant brainchild of Shira Blustein (Founder of Acorn) and Meeru Dhalwala (Founder & previous Head Chef of Vij’s) – is marking one year of serving modern Indian food in Mount Pleasant. Obviously, that calls for a celebration, and they’ve got not one, but two days of birthday dinners planned – and tickets are going quickly!

For this special occasion, the Lila team is celebrating by reviving the “Clay Collab” dinner series (a concept harkening back to the restaurant’s previous life as The Arbor) on Wednesday, May 28th and Thursday, May 29th. On these two evenings, talented local ceramicist and all-around cool, colourful human being, Julia Chirka, will be providing hand thrown bowls for each guest to take home to commemorate the experience. The ticket price ($125) also covers your three-course meal by Chef Dhalwala – which is sure to be something special – as well as tax and gratuities. Not ‘officially’ on the menu, but basically guaranteed: a fun and festive ambience, and the people to match it.

Sounds like a pretty sweet deal, doesn’t it? If you have your heart set on a seat at Lila’s “Clay Collab” anniversary dinner then don’t wait any longer to secure yours online here now.
