Local Artist Neil Wedman Opens New Show At The Equinox Gallery, February 2

Wedman

by Ken Tsui | For the past ten years, Vancouver artist Neil Wedman has opened up monochromatic windows into cinematic spectacles. From desert rainbows and volcanoes erupting underwater to exploding firework factories, these jaw-dropping, grey-on-grey vistas culminate in “Pages”, a beautiful new book (published by ECU Press and Charles H. Scott Gallery) and show at Equinox Gallery on Great Northern Way. The celebrated artist – who teaches at both ECUAD and SFU – will be on site for the opening reception and book launch this Thursday night. If you can’t make it to the opening you can catch the show until February 25. Equinox is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 5pm.
