“The Acorn” On Main St. Set To Launch Its New Summer Menu This Week

Vancouver, BC |  Chef Brian Skinner launches a late summer menu at The Acorn this Saturday. Get in to taste it while you can as it slips in just under the seasonal wire (to be replaced by an Autumn menu before you know it!). Chef Skinner will bring back some old favourites such as the raw beet ravioli filled with macadamia cheese and the delicious sweet corn veloute with blueberry gastrique. New items include grilled nectarines with tomato jam, smoked ricotta puree, hysop and toast, and “toad in the hole” (egg with maple smoked shitake mushrooms, herb salad and a caper aioli).
