On Sunday, November 12th, head up to Whistler for a special screening of Lost in Translation that you can eat with more than just your eyes. That’s right, director Sofia Coppola’s sophomore full-length film is the latest to get the Sensory Cinema treatment. This time around it’s paired with a tasting menu prepared by Harajuku Izakaya and delivered to your seat by one of Sensory Cinema’s ushers. Plus, it’s going to be a real Suntory Time, since the menu includes Japanese whisky pairings. ‘Arigato gazaimasu!’ to the peeps at Here There Studio for putting together what promises to be another extraordinary event!

The new Victoria-based concept from Elizabeth Bryan (the powerhouse behind former, sorely missed Mount Pleasant spot, Dock Lunch), with partners Fabio Caboclo and Daniel Peres is expected to be pulling in locals and Vancouverites to the space by early summer by using table service charm in a counter service world.
