‘Evening With Grace: Feminism and Business’ Popping Up in Chinatown on April 12

Images via The Grace Club

The Grace Club is hosting a a wine tasting paired with a discussion on feminism and business on Thursday, April 12th. The event is open to everyone and will be popping up at Joanna Keller Beautique in Chinatown. Tickets are still available for $42.42 here (price include pours from Prophecy Wines) with proceeds going towards the Urban Native Youth Association.

An Evening with Grace is a series of monthly events facilitated by two local, multifaceted women, Tavia Cosper and Maggie Anderson.  They share the same ambition of building and bringing together the feminist community. Speaking on the April theme of ‘Feminism and Business’ they’ve enlisted four cool, smart and successful businesswomen working on the cutting edge of various industries, including make-up, life and business coaching, and fitness.

This is the Grace Club’s tenth event and all the previous ones have sold out, so you definitely shouldn’t wait to secure your spot. As the date approaches, you might consider doing a quick spring-cleaning of your medicine cabinet because, as usual, Cosper and Anderson will be accepting toiletry donations for the DTES Women’s Centre.
