Ceramic Stool That Can Be Heated Like A Warm Cup Of Tea

(via) It’s nice that the weather has improved and that summer feels like it’s finally here, but we Vancouverites know that it’s only a fleeting respite from the wet. It won’t last. So it’s always important to be on the lookout for tools with which we can combat the general, almost non-stop shittiness that is November through April. Designed by Shunya Hattori and Hiroki Nasu, the ‘bouillon warm stool’ is a brilliant combination of wood and ceramic that functions as a cozy cup of tea for your chilled posterior. It started making the rounds at design shows last year gathering deserved accolades and applause, but I don’t think it’s gone into production just yet. Let’s hope they hurry it up. It might only be May, but winter is coming…
